Tree Plugs are seedlings that are coming to you in the soil they were raised in, so no bare roots, with a much higher success rate (95%). Why waste your money on bare root and hope they survive?

Balsam Fir:
A favorite for Christmas trees, sheared or unsheared; nice pyramidal shape; soft short dark green needles; "Christmas tree" fragrance; prefers moist soils.

EASTERN RED CEDAR:
A hardy juniper species favored by wildlife for food and shelter; small tree or large shrub for full sun; short, sharp scale-like needles; tolerates most soil conditions; cones are dark blue "gin berries".

TAMARACK:
